We got to give him time to see. You can go to VHSL website and look at past state championship teams. Appalachia won in 1989 and Tom started as head coach in 1980. Granted appy went to two and lost but it took 9 years for Tom to bring the trophy home. Give travis 5 years and if in 5 years union hasnt made it past a run of the mill team then get rid of him. As for the other coaches, thin them out this offseason IMO

dawgman is a moron. if i had to guess he never even played football or if he did he was on the we are winning by 30 so let the scrub play team...thats why he talk about travis and tom like that but if thats what makes him happy have at it noone cares anyway

Don't get me started. There were things going on at appalachia that would have got coaches put in jail.
Tom was about to be let go as head coach before the 92 season but Mr. Nash was talked out of it.

Just like you, talk bad about a man who is dead and gone. Everyone knows Tom was no saint, he was only a man. You are less than that. You wouldn't even rate as high as the mud on the soles of his shoes.

And Travis is still no football coach, he needs to go back to softball oh thats right the teams he was coaching at PV were Pauls team.

Really! We're talking about Union Highs coaching staff. I'd have to agree with whoever said Travis is own person, not Tom or Phil. Is it possible he got the job because of his name sure. But why not go after somebody with bigger name. Jeez you Union fans are crazy. I guess its hard to let go of the past. But Phil ain't there no more. So get over it.
